The Camp Ground
The Forestry Campsite is located on 7 Acres of lush tropical forest. The elevated area of the property has 4 Campsites. The Reception, Restaurant, Treehouse and Garden Area are located on a flat section of the property, which sprawl into Paddy fields and two rivers on either side, Hirikatu Oya & the famous Belihuloya. All of this, only a few hundred meters from the Samanala Wewa (Butterfly Lake).
- Campsite Tents – 1 (1 Double per Unit) – 2 People.
- Campsite Chalet – 4 (1 Double per Unit) – 8 People.
- Campsite Treehouse – 1 (1 Double per Unit) – 2 People.
- Total Capacity – 12 People
Our Luxury Tents
All 3 Campsite Tents (Coleman US) are located on spacious, elevated wooden platforms, finished with cinnamon-wood ceilings and fencing.
Each Tent has a unique ensuite bathroom with hot-water showers for the comfort of our campers.
Inside, the Tent can have, either 1 Double Bed or 2 Single Beds, which still leaves ample space for luggage and any other personal belongings. To charge those phones and cameras, each unit has a power socket and extension cord.

Spend a Night in a Treehouse
The Treehouse, which is perched on an old Gliricidia Tree, can be accessed by climbing a massive boulder. Once nestled inside on a comfortable double bed with a bird’s-eye view of the Campground, we guarantee you wouldn’t want to go anywhere. The elevated, private patio of the Treehouse is ideal for a romantic dinner, under the stars!

For practical reasons, the ensuite bathroom with hot-water shower of the Treehouse is underneath and accessible via a ramp. You won’t be disappointed!

The Forestry Camps Chalet
Our campsite Chalet is charming, yesteryear and above all private!
A super-comfortable four-poster bed is the highlight of this unique campsite Chalet. Currently the only unit, facing West and therefore overlooking Belihuloya with a direct view of Hawagala (Rabbit Rock). Fall asleep to sounds of the river and the whispering of the trees.
The Chalet has an ensuite bathroom with a hot-water shower.

What's on the Menu
Surrounded by tropical forest, with respect to the peace and tranquility that nature has bestowed on us, TFC aspires to provide a wholesome and rejuvenating experience for couples and families. The Forestry will always serve locally-sourced produce, offering our guests the opportunity to experience the farm-to-plate culture of the rural villages. Our Menu offers an excellent variety of vegetarian and pescatarian options. (Available on Request)
